Wilderness and Expedition Programs 2018
Wilderness Camps and Middle School Expedition offer a more rustic and laid back camping experience with campers staying in our Adirondack shelters or their own tents, & enjoying more intimate teaching & worship times around the campfire. Our Wilderness Camp is located along the creek in a secluded section of our camp. Campers will have access to primitive restroom facilities, and will bathe in the creek in their swimsuits. They have their meals in a covered pavillion equipped with an outdoor kitchen (although most of the cooking takes place by our staff in the kitchen to satisfy health department regulations). They still have access to all of the great recreation opportunities at the camp including High Ropes, Low Ropes, Rock Wall, Canoeing, Fishing, Creeking, Games and more. It is a true "camping" experience, and it is truly amazing.
Expedition is an off site hiking program which this year is taking place in the Monongahela National Forest. For more details, see description below.

What is more fun than winning? The Bible says, “run in such a way as to win the prize.” How do I do that? Can life really be fun when you are always focused on winning? This year our staff hopes to convince you to stay the course and keep running the race until you hear well done. We want to show you how much fun “racing for the prize” can be. We will have our usual staff and do many of our normal activities (swimming, low ropes, high ropes and canoeing) along with some “amazing races.” For our expedition this year we are planning a canoe trip. We hope you will join us for a week full of mental training for the course God has set for us.

We are going to have a blast enjoying the great outdoors, playing on the high and low ropes course, relaxing by the creek, fishing, and so much more! See you this summer!

1 Timothy 2:5
For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus.
Lace up your boots and get ready for an adventure! This year will be a fun, intense and unforgettable experience in the deepest part of the Monongahela National Forest. Our week will begin with a caving excursion at Laurel Caverns. From there we will travel to the Cranberry Wilderness in West Virginia for a backpacking and hiking adventure that will take us deep into the forest. We will see mountain streams, waterfalls, pristine spruce forest and experience everything that nature has to offer.
While on the expedition we will dive into scripture to discover who Jesus really is. Was he a real person? How can he be both God and man? Was Jesus sinless? How can one man be the savior of the world? These are the topics that we will look to answer as we study the scripture together. So, come with an open mind and be ready to be challenged physically and spiritually.
