Several programs have been developed based on the experience of camp:

• The Buddy System allows for older youth to be paired as constant companions and provide guidance and assistance to children who come to camp with very special needs, such as behavioral difficulties, attention deficit and/or hyperactivity. • A HELP LINE is available to provide supportive listening, information and referrals to anyone in the three states bordering the camp via the toll-free number: 1-800-944-8172. Also, there is available face-to-face direct crisis intervention for those in need of such assistance.
