Three main projects totaling $1,200,000:
-
This facility will process and dispose of the camp's waste water. Our present system no longer meets EPA standards, and we have been placed on a mandatory replacement schedule. This plant will serve as the bridge to future development as we are unable to build any new buildings until our present waste water system is replaced.
-
The swimming pool is a large part of the camp experience and a much needed refresher on hot summer afternoons. A new pool will replace the present 40-year-old pool which is in serious disrepair. This replacement is long overdue as our present pool is not cost-effective to either maintain or remodel. There will be no downtime in this process as we will continue to use our present pool until the new pool is completed.
-
This facility will be constructed for year-round use and will be located where the present multipurpose building rests. It will include four girls' dorms, three meeting spaces, two small apartments and an office complex. It will function as a girls' dorm and additional housing in the summer, a retreat facility in the off-season and an office complex all year. The present girls' dorms will be converted into staff housing, dean's and nurse's quarters and the first aid station.
